Mike Daniels, Defensive Tackle
Next up, the Packers have had interest in adding another defensive tackle to play alongside Kenny Clark in the middle of the Packers’ line. What better way to accomplish that goal than a late free agency move to bring back fan favorite Mike Daniels?
Daniels struggled last season in his one year with the Detroit Lions. He played in nine games and racked up 10 total tackles to go along with one sack. The numbers aren’t great, but Daniels won’t be demanding an expensive deal either.
Green Bay is very familiar with Daniels and he has mentioned a desire to return to the Packers if the door is open. Gutekusnt and company should strongly consider this option.
When healthy, Daniels is a great run stopper and can get to the quarterback as well. He may not be a star anymore, but he would be well worth a one-year deal.
