Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Wide Receiver

Let’s start with the wide receiver position where the Packers are hoping to see Marquez Valdes-Scantling realize his full potential. There is no question that he has star potential, but he did not take the big leap forward that many were expecting in 2019.

When everything was said and done, Valdes-Scantling only ended up catching 26 passes for 452 yards and two touchdowns.

There is no question that MVS was unhappy with his overall performance. He has been working hard once again this offseason to take the next step. Rodgers and the Packers are still very confident that he will make that step.

Standing in at 6-foot-4 and just over 205 pounds, Valdes-Scantling possesses great speed and athleticism to go along with elite size. This will be the year that we finally see the version of him that we have been waiting on. He is going to have a big year and will end up being the No. 2 wideout that the Packers have been needing.
