3. Offensive Familiarity
Gabriel started his career as a Cleveland Brown in 2014 and most recently was with the Chicago Bears the past two years. In 2016 to 2017 as an Atlanta Falcon is why it makes sense for him to head up to the frozen tundra.
He had some of his best years in Atlanta while being a big reason the Atlanta Falcons made the Super Bowl in 2016, plus he knows LaFleur’s coaching style as well. Gabriel could step right in without a hitch because of his knowledge and experience in a Kyle Shanahan style offense.
He would not just be a veteran experienced signing, but could be an on-field coach for the Packers’ younger receivers.
