Packers: 3 worst-case scenarios in 2020 for Green Bay

3. The Packers’ Young Receivers Don’t Step Up

After not making a big move at the wide receiver position this offseason, the Packers have made it clear that they are banking on improvement from the young wide receivers already on their roster. Allen Lazard showed signs of improvement last offseason, but Marquez Valdes-Scantling was nowhere near the player the Packers needed him to be.

The first worst-case scenario for Green Bay would that none of their young receivers step up and they are stuck with Davante Adams as their one and only receiver once again.

Aaron Rodgers was not “thrilled” with the Packers’ offseason. He wanted more help, as the Packers were just one win away from the Super Bowl. Green Bay didn’t go all-in to win now, but the future still looks bright.
