Second Quarter of the Season
Week 6 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Another matchup with two of the greatest quarterbacks in the game will be must watch TV. Tampa Bay comes in with lots of expectations after making two of the splashiest additions of the offseason. The Buccaneers will start hitting their stride at this point and take down the Packers.
Packers: 3-2
Week 7 @ Houston Texans
The Texans were the winners of the AFC South last year, but the talent gap between these two teams has grown, especially after some questionable decisions by Houston this offseason. With DeAndre Hopkins the offense sputters and the Packers get back to their winning ways.
Packers: 4-2
Week 8 vs. Minnesota Vikings
It’s always difficult to beat the same team twice in one year, especially when both teams have a lot of talent. At this point in the year the Vikings have a better sense of where their new additions fit in and have hopefully put the Dalvin Cook saga behind them. Minnesota gets revenge.
Packers: 4-3
Week 9 @ San Francisco 49ers
It’s the Packers turn for revenge when they take on the team that knocked them out of the playoffs last year. Both these teams will show some regression this year, but the Packers get the best of the 49ers.
Packers: 5-3
