Patriots: 3 numbers for WR N’Keal Harry to target in 2020

Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

30 Catches

Only 30 catches? Shouldn’t Harry shoot for more than that? Yes, in due time. But after only hauling in 12 catches and catching 50 percent of his targets last season, setting the goal at 30 seems fair.

Aside from Edelman and White, no other Patriots pass catcher even caught 30 balls last season. Dorsett was one away at 29 receptions.

Dorsett is now a member of the Seattle Seahawks, opening the door for Harry to take over as the No. 2 receiver for this team. Mohamed Sanu is still in the mix, but he’s best utilized in the slot, whereas Harry is probably best suited for a role on the outside.

It would be very alarming if Harry doesn’t reach at least 30 receptions this season.
