The New England Patriots have been an intriguing team to watch so far this offseason. After barely missing the playoffs last season, Bill Belichick and company are looking to build around young quarterback Mac Jones. Perhaps a trade for Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy could be in the team’s future?
So far this offseason, the Patriots have made a few key moves. Most notably, they were able to sign veteran free agent wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who will come in as the team’s No. 1 wideout immediately. New England also was able to re-sign Jabrill Peppers, Mack Wilson, andJonathan Jones and brought in James Robinson and Riley Reiff.
It seems unlikely that Belichick is done this offseason. The Patriots needed to make a few moves to get things turned around.
One intriguing option would be Jeudy, who is reportedly on the trade block. The Broncos are reportedly open to moving him, Courtland Sutton, and KJ Hamler.
Mack Wilson, who was one of the players that the Patriots already re-signed, took to Twitter to share his desire. He wants to see Jeudy in a Patriots’ jersey.
At this point in time, the reported asking price for Jerry Jeudy has been a first-round pick. It seems likely that as time goes in, a second-round pick may end up being a reasonable return.

Jeudy is coming off of a 2022 NFL season that saw him catch 67 passes for 972 yards and six touchdowns.
Those numbers, especially with how bad the Broncos’ offense was all-around, were impressive. They showed that Jeudy has taken a step forward in his development. In New England, as the team’s No. 2 wideout behind Smith-Schuster, Jeudy would be a very dangerous force to be reckoned with.
Granted, there are plenty of teams around the league that could use a receiver like Jeudy. But, the Patriots are a team that make this kind of move all the time. Don’t be surprised to see the Patriots be a very major player when it comes to a potential Jeudy trade.
