Terry McLaurin was one of the brightest spots for a Washington team that struggled through the 2019 season. The third-round pick out of Ohio State was one of the better wide receivers in his draft class and recorded 919 yards in only 14 games during his rookie year.

Hauling in 7 touchdowns, McLaurin was able to rise above where he was drafted and provide closer to first round talent during his rookie year. Washington will need McLaurin to continue taking steps forward during a time that continues to look like a rebuild.

McLaurin will have the benefit of getting a second year of work in with quarterback Dwayne Haskins. Trying to go through a season with multiple quarterbacks is a hard ask, especially of a rookie wide receiver. Haskins only started 9 games during the second half of the season, so increased confidence and chemistry with McLaurin should see improvements for both players.

McLaurin will have the added challenge of this year of not being able to sneak in under the radar. He is easily the best wide receiver on the team and will consistently get the top cornerback matching up with him. This will put McLaurin’s skills to the test as he continues to try and emerge as one of the best wide receivers in the NFC East.

With that being said, let’s take a look at some predictions for Washington Football Team receiver Terry McLaurin in 2020.
