1. Cleveland Browns
Notable running backs: Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt, Dontrell Hilliard
Last but not least, the Cleveland Browns come in at No. 1 on this list due to their dominant duo of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. With how productive those two are, they don’t even need a third guy to be mentioned. But for the sake of this article, Dontrell Hilliard will serve as the backup to Chubb and Hunt next season.
Not many teams can say they have two running backs that are capable of rushing for over 1,000 yards. In his second season in the NFL in 2019, Chubb scampered for 1,494 yards, which was second-most in the NFL. Chubb figures to have another impressive showing in 2020. Despite Hunt being suspended for the first eight games last year, he still managed to record 5.8 yards per touch on 80 touches in his first season with the Browns.
Prior to arriving in Cleveland, Hunt was an electric running back for the Kansas City Chiefs, accumulating 2,984 yards from scrimmage and 25 touchdowns in two seasons. While a couple of teams may have a deeper backfield, Chubb and Hunt make up for that with their insane production together. It’s hard to argue that the Browns don’t have arguably — if not — the best running back room in the NFL entering the 2020 NFL season.
