Queen Should be in the DROY Race

This draft was one of the best defensive drafts in the last decade. Players like Chase Young, Isaiah Simmons, and Jeffrey Okudah have been receiving All-Pro comparisons. They deserve all that hype, they are incredibly talented players with very bright futures.

However, players like CJ Henderson, Patrick Queen, and Kenneth Murray have flown under the radar a bit. These players also draw Pro-Bowl Comparisons and may find themselves in the DROY running.

Queen drew tons of comparisons from Telvin Smith to Devin White. However, the player that appears most comparable to is Falcons linebacker Deion Jones. Both Jones and Queen had minimal reps in college, are a bit undersized, but are tremendous playmakers.

While there is still plenty of polishing do be done, the Ravens may have found a diamond in the rough late in the first round. Although winning DROY will be difficult with so much talent in this class, Queen has the talent to make an immediate impact. Patrick has the ability to be a playmaker on defense. Ravens fans should be very excited about the future of this rising star.
