2 Sacks

This sack number might seem low for a first-round linebacker, but upon closer examination, it’s a fair goal for the rookie.

When you look back on the rookie seasons of his two counterparts, K.J. Wright and Bobby Wagner, you’ll find that each of them notched 2 sacks in their debut season. In fact, the Seahawks linebacker unit as a whole has posted modest sack numbers for such a successful defense throughout their tenure.

Jordyn Brooks himself only collected 6.5 sacks throughout his career at Texas Tech, 3 of which came in his last season. He should thrive in Seattle, but don’t expect his sack numbers to be through the roof.

He may just surprise some fans too, as he posted a blistering 4.54 40-yard dash time. His speed and low center of gravity will help him fit right into a bigger, faster league. The learning curve should be quick for the youngster, as he’s already received plenty of praise from Seahawks coaches.
