1. Mariota will lead the Titans to a second playoff win in 2018

Last year, the Tennessee Titans reached the playoffs where they defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in the Wild Card round, eventually losing to the New England Patriots in the Divisional Round of the AFC Playoffs.

The last time the Titans won playoff games in consecutive years was back in the 2002 and 2003 seasons, when Tennessee defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in the ’02 playoffs and the Baltimore Ravens in the ’03 playoffs.

That will change this season with Mariota not just getting the Titans back to the playoffs, but leading the Titans to another playoff victory for a second consecutive year. Tennessee will be battle-tested by the time they get back to the playoffs because their division isn’t going to be easy, as the Jacksonville Jaguars have solid core players back on their roster, and if the quarterbacks of Houston and Indianapolis stay healthy, they too will be players in the division.

Nonetheless, the Titans will be back in the playoffs, and Mariota and his improved play for the upcoming season will lead Tennessee back to a feat they’ve not achieved for going on 15 seasons, and that is winning a playoff game in back-to-back seasons.
