The Texas Longhorns football program is gearing up for a significant influx of visiting recruits ahead of their annual Orange-White spring football game at DKR in Austin on April 20.
Head coach Steve Sarkisian and his team are expecting a large contingent of prospective players from the 2025, 2026, and 2027 classes to be on campus for the event.
One of the most notable names set to make an appearance at the Orange-White Game is Andrew Marsh, an elite five-star wide receiver from Fulshear, Texas, attending Katy Jordan High School.
Marsh, who Inside Texas reported on Feb. 14, confirmed his plans for an unofficial visit to Texas during the spring football festivities in late April. This marks Marsh’s first scheduled visit to the Longhorns since the beginning of the 2024 offseason, although he has made multiple visits to the campus since last spring.
Marsh has also made recent trips to visit the Texas A&M Aggies and the Kentucky Wildcats. Texas A&M stands out as a strong contender in Marsh’s recruitment, largely due to his relationship with the Aggies’ new wide receivers coach, Holmon Wiggins.
However, Marsh is also considering offers from other top-tier programs such as the Michigan Wolverines, LSU Tigers, and USC Trojans as he navigates his recruitment process this spring.
Chris Jackson, who was hired early last offseason, has developed a strong rapport with Marsh and his team throughout the recruiting process. Both Jackson and Sarkisian are said to maintain frequent communication with Marsh, emphasizing his significance as one of their top in-state targets at the wide receiver position for the 2025 class.
Marsh is positioned as one of the premier wide receiver prospects on Texas’ radar for the 2025 class, alongside other standout recruits such as Duncanville’s five-star and LSU commit, Dakorien Moore, Mater Dei High School’s high-four-star Marcus Harris, and Sacshe’s five-star talent, Kaliq Lockett, among others.
