Odell Beckham Jr. was once again mentioned in quite a few trade rumors this offseason, but the Cleveland Browns decided not to pull the trigger. One potential team that was mentioned as a potential landing spot for him was the Minnesota Vikings.
A couple months back, rumors began swirling that the Vikings were in talks with the Browns about Beckham. Nothing came of those rumors, but they should not be discredited. It is likely that Minnesota made a call and the two sides talked, but nothing ended up happening.
While the rumors have gone away, the Vikings should still try to acquire Beckham from the Browns. Just because the Browns haven’t moved him doesn’t mean that there is no chance they would be open to the idea.
Last season with the Browns, Beckham suffered through a very disappointing season. He was hampered by an injury throughout most of the season and ended up catching just 74 passes for 1,035 yards and four touchdowns.
All of that being said, let’s take a look at a potential trade between the Vikings and Browns that would send Odell Beckham Jr. to Minnesota and could be a perfect fit for both teams involved.
