Offensive Line

The offensive line in Minnesota has been an issue over the last few years. The Vikings selected Garrett Bradbury with their first round selection in 2019 and he will enter the season as the starting center. They also added Ezra Cleveland in the second round of the 2020 draft. Cleveland will be a backup in 2020.

Pat Elflein will be at left guard for the second straight season after playing center for the first two years of his career. Riley Reiff will take his left tackle spot after playing 43 of 48 games in three years with the Vikings. The left side of the line is strong which is important in covering Cousins’ blindside.

At right guard, Dakota Dozier will be penciled in after starting four games a season ago. He will take over for Josh Klein who spent one year with the Vikings. Brian O’Neill will be slotted at right tackle.

The Vikings will have four of their five starters back along the offensive line. Cleveland will play some valuable minutes as a rookie after being one of the top rated offensive lines in the draft. This is the unit that might be the most important for the Vikings in 2020. If they are productive, the offense will flourish.
