Tight Ends

Kyle Rudolph is entering his 10th season with the Vikings. He has been a strong pass catcher since entering the league. In 2020, he will once again be the starting tight end but he will have some help.

Irv Smith Jr. was a rookie last season and finished with 36 catches for 311 yards and two touchdowns. He is a player that the Vikings feel good about moving forward. Rudolph will serve as a mentor for Smith Jr. and there is no better situation for a young tight end.

Tyler Conklin would be third on the depth chart but the duo at the top will handle most of the business. Both Rudolph and Smith Jr. can catch the ball and block which gives the offense plenty of options.
