Washington Redskins: 3 Free Agents to Target in 2019

The Washington Redskins are in the middle of a serious race for the NFL playoffs and are 6-3 on the season. It has been an interesting year, to say the least, but the franchise appears to be heading in the right direction.

Jay Gruden has the most talent on each side of the football that he has had with the Redskins. Washington made a big change in the offseason by allowing Kirk Cousins to walk in free agency and acquiring Alex Smith from the Kansas City Chiefs. Washington has quickly turned into a destination that free agents would gladly consider. They may not be one of the elite destinations, but they are certainly an intriguing team for big names to consider.

If the Redskins decide to get aggressive this coming offseason, there are a few players that could be ideal target. Let’s dive in and take a look at three free agents that they should consider trying to sign.
