3 perfect cornerback options for the Seattle Seahawks this offseason

Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks came up short against the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs. It was a tough way to be bounced out of the postseason, especially after they tried to make a hard-fought comeback. However, the Seahawks just weren’t quite good enough to get over the hump.

Seattle put together a solid regular season, finishing the year with an 11-5 record. They also knocked off the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.

Now, looking ahead at the upcoming NFL offseason, the Seahawks need to make some additions. If they want to get back to being Super Bowl contenders, a few positions will need to be upgraded. One of those positions is at cornerback.

Back in the day, the Seahawks had one of the best secondaries in football. But gone are the days of Richard Sherman terrorizing opposing quarterback for Seattle. They need more talent at cornerback to contend with the high-powered offense that most Super Bowl contenders have been able to put together.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at three perfect targets for the Seahawks this offseason at the cornerback position.
