3 perfect cornerback options for the Seattle Seahawks this offseason

CJ Henderson, Seahawks, NFL Draft

CJ Henderson, Florida

Let’s take a look at the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft with this first target. Seattle currently holds the No. 25 overall pick. Should they choose to go with a cornerback, Florida standout CJ Henderson could very well be the pick.

In 2019 with the Gators, Henderson ended up totaling 33 tackles, one sack, no interceptions, and 11 defended passes. Back in 2018, Henderson racked up 38 tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles, two interceptions, and five defended passes. Those numbers show a lot of potential for Henderson.

Carroll has always found ways to develop talent and Henderson would be a great project for him. At 6-foot-1 and 202 pounds, he would bring size and the kind of physicality that Seattle needs at the cornerback position.
