Fantasy Football: Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Recommendations for Week 16

The first round of some fantasy league’s playoffs just ended, leaving you eliminated or still treading along. It’s been a rough couple of weeks for some players who were carrying fantasy teams before.

Drew Brees and Jared Goff, in particular, have caused fantasy owners to sulk in their recent performances. For Brees, he’s had a total of 27.1 fantasy points in his last three games—all on the road. Goff, on the other hand, has totaled a mere 18.5 points in his last three contests.

Both quarterbacks were owned by plenty of people who reached the playoffs. Those same people needed others to step up through their struggles if they wanted to find a way to win. Some injuries to running backs have also caused a fallout among the fantasy community.

Melvin Gordon and James Conner fell victim to the injury bug recently. Both were unable to suit up in recent weeks, causing their owners to pin the blame on them. If you were able to survive Gordon’s injury, he will be back in Week 16.

Now onto my picks in Week 16. My picks are made based on PPR (points per reception) scoring and can be used in season-long or DFS (daily fantasy sports) leagues. Now here’s who I like—or don’t like in Week 16.
