2020 NFL Draft: 4-round mock draft for the Indianapolis Colts

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Round 2, Pick 44: Justin Madubuike (IDL, Texas A&M)

For the defensive side of the ball, the Colts could some help along the interior defensive line and off of the edge. Luckily for Indianapolis, they own two second-round picks and can bolster the defensive line.

Currently, Denico Autry and Grover Stewart start in the interior for the Colts. Both Autry and Stewart have shown promise, but adding someone else into the mix could be beneficial.

In the second round, the Colts could have a chance to select Justin Madubuike out of Texas A&M. Madubuike definitely has the tools to become a formidable starting interior defender in the NFL.

Without a doubt, Madubuike’s explosiveness jumps out when watching his tape. Over his final two seasons in college, Madubuike showed that he can be a disruptive force as he accumulated 11 sacks, 24.5 tackles for loss, and four forced fumbles in that span.
