3 cornerbacks the Chiefs could target at No. 32 in the 2020 NFL Draft

Noah Igbinoghene

Again, the Chiefs have likened to players that prove that they are superior athletes to the other players on the field. With that in mind, arguably one of the most athletic cornerbacks in this year’s class is Noah Igbinoghene.

When Igbinoghene arrived at Auburn in 2017, he was a highly touted wide receiver recruit. However, the former wide receiver made the transition to cornerback in 2018, putting together two formidable seasons at the position. Despite playing a new position, Igbinoghene notched 18 deflections and one interception since 2018.

Without a doubt, Igbinoghene is a raw, yet intriguing prospect for an NFL team that is willing to let him develop his game. Given that the Chiefs plan on creating a dynasty, they could be intrigued in seeing what Igbinoghene’s potential is in the NFL. Similar to Johnson though, Kansas City could be more comfortable taking Igbinoghene early in the second round.
