3 defensive free agency targets for the Green Bay Packers

The NFL offseason is set to begin now that Super Bowl 54 has come and gone. That means that the Green Bay Packers are set to take on the next challenge ahead of them. After making it all the way to the NFC Championship Game before losing to the San Francisco 49ers, the Packers are going to be an intriguing team to watch this offseason.

Aaron Rodgers and Matt LaFleur showed off a close relationship in 2019. It was a breath of fresh air after rumblings of unrest in Green Bay dominated the news cycle last offseason.

Green Bay has quite a few needs that they need to focus on. One of them comes on the offensive side of the football. They need to bring in another wide receiver or two to give Rodgers to work with.

Defensively, the Packers will need some help on the defensive line, at linebacker, and possibly a cornerback with Tramon Williams entering free agency. Brian Gutekunst won’t have huge money to spend this offseason. He will have to get creative.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at three defensive players the Packers should target in free agency.
