The Offensive Line Must Improve

Heading into the game, one of the main concerns for the Philadelphia Eagles was keeping Carson Wentz healthy. Against Washington, the Eagles’ Offensive Line surrendered eight sacks.

In order for the team to be successful, they will need to shore up their biggest hole. This offseason, the Eagles let Jason Peters walk (got him back), lost Brandon Brooks, and Andre Lillard to injuries.

Against Washington, Doug Pederson was forced to start rookie Jack Driscoll and second-year undrafted player in Nate Herbig.

The O-Line had trouble containing the blitz Sunday. With the ground game non-existent, the Eagles were forced to drop back more than they wanted to which put Wentz in the line of fire.
