3 perfect pass rushing options for the New York Jets this offseason

The New York Jets are coming off of a very disappointing 2019 NFL season. After receiving a lot of hype after landing both Le’Veon Bell and C.J. Mosley in free agency last offseason, the team fell flat in Adam Gase’s first season as head coach. Now, they are in for another wild offseason.

While they only went 7-9 in 2019, the Jets have to be feeling good about the direction their franchise is heading. Sam Darnold may have struggled a bit after dealing with mono early in the year, but he has big-time potential. They also have him surrounded with a lot of talent, although there are some major needs on the offensive side of the football.

Defensively, the Jets have some work to do. Mosley having a full offseason to get healthy will be huge for them, but they also have areas that they need to add talent.

One of those areas is pass rushing, where they struggled mightily in 2019. Getting to the quarterback is a must for any team looking to compete. New York will have some avenues to make the necessary improvements this offseason.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at three perfect pass rushing options for the Jets to take a look at this offseason.
