Jonathan Taylor
There’s no mistaking the fact that the Bills are making it a priority to make sure the defense is just as good as they were a year ago — if not better. However, on the offensive side of the ball, Brandon Beane — the GM Of the Bills — shared that he believes Devin Singletary can handle a full workload in 2020.
On the other hand, Beane definitely left the door open for the Bills to select a running back in this year’s draft or add someone in free agency. The closer the draft gets, the more likely it seems that this year’s class of running backs is going to slide in the draft.
In that case, there’s a chance that the Bills have an opportunity to snag a talent like Jonathan Taylor with the No. 54 pick. In his three seasons at Wisconsin, Taylor rushed for a total of 6,174 yards and 50 touchdowns. With 2,003 rushing yards in 2019, Taylor cemented himself as Wisconsin’s second all-time rushing leader behind Ron Dayne.
Also, after catching just 16 passes in his first two seasons, Taylor flashed potential as a receiver in 2019, hauling in 26 receptions for 252 yards. While it may be smarter to target another position, a duo of Taylor and Singletary could be an intriguing idea.
