Derrick Brown
Again, despite having Grady Jarrett on their roster, the Falcons would be wise to pair him with an interior defender in this year’s draft. Throughout the pre-draft process, Derrick Brown has been regarded as the No. 1 interior defensive lineman prospect available.
Coming out of Auburn, Brown is quick for his size and can cause chaos in the middle of the trenches. In his four seasons at Auburn, Brown accumulated 12.5 sacks, 33 tackles for loss, and five forced fumbles.
Even though he didn’t have otherworldly sack numbers, Brown is more than capable of being a contributor versus the run and the pass. Despite a less-than-stellar NFL Combine outing, Brown is still worth taking early in the first round.
