3 players the Vikings could target at No. 58 in the 2020 NFL Draft

Damien Lewis

Just this past season, the Vikings took a more run-oriented approach under offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski. Even with Stefanski accepting the head-coaching job for the Cleveland Browns, Minnesota figures to run a similar offense in 2020.

With Dalvin Cook and Kirk Cousins being the focal points in Minnesota’s offense, it would only make sense for them to improve the offensive line. After drafting Garrett Bradbury at center a year ago, the Vikings would benefit from adding a guard in this year’s draft.

With that in mind, Damien Lewis out of LSU would provide a boost along the interior of Minnesota’s offensive line. While Lewis doesn’t have much range in his mobility, he packs a punch in the interior. Seeing that the Vikings are trending toward being a power-run team, Lewis would be an ideal fit on day two of the draft.
