Wide Receiver, CeeDee Lamb, Oklahoma
After trading Stefon Diggs to the Buffalos Bills, the Vikings received this year’s 21st overall selection, which could end up being used to help replace what they gave up for it.
By all accounts, CeeDee Lamb out of Oklahoma would be a home run selection for Minnesota. Although, he’s almost guaranteed to be gone by the time the Vikings are on the clock at 21, so they’ll undoubtedly have to trade up if they want to snag him.
For the past two college football seasons, Lamb has been one of the best wideouts in the country. He’s gone over 1,000 yards receiving two years in a row, and has accumulated a total of 26 touchdowns in that time.
He draws a lot of comparisons to DeAndre Hopkins of the Arizona Cardinals, mostly due to his effortless ability to high point balls and make plays after the catch.
Inserting Lamb into this lineup would make Diggs an afterthought in Minnesota. Trading up for him would seamlessly fill the vacancy left behind by the Pro Bowl wideout.
