The Las Vegas Raiders are beginning a new era of football and they have quite a few reasons to be excited. Even though leaving the city of Oakland is an emotional thing, the Raiders have a roster put together that has the potential to get them back into playoff contention as they add to it and continue developing.

Jon Gruden has to be excited about the upcoming offseason. Oakland will have an opportunity to add more young talent to their roster in the 2020 NFL Draft and the team could look to spend some money in free agency.

After finishing the 2019 NFL season with a 7-9 record and having a chance to make the playoffs up until the final week of the season, things are finally starting to look up. Las Vegas is a team to keep an eye on moving forward.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three players who need to take the next step for the Raiders to improve in 2020.

  1. Are you ok E. Massey? Players who must take the next step must actually play to show the potential. K. Doss doesn’t statistically qualify. J. Jacobs over qualifies and T. Mullen is just right. I guess one out of three is o. K. Now step out of the way so someone else can throw darts at the board blindfolded.
