Indianapolis Colts
The Colts are clearly in win-now mode and with Philip Rivers signed to just a one-year contract, they need all the talent they can get right now. Having another reliable receiving threat at tight end like Delanie Walker would be helpful after severing ties with Eric Ebron.
There are a few players the Colts have at the tight end spot so they aren’t entirely depleted after Ebron’s departure. The starter is Jack Doyle and is a reliable, but not dynamic receiving threat. Meanwhile, Mo Alie-Cox is considered to be ‘on the rise’ by Chris Ballard.
The Colts were previously connected to Walker as having ‘expressed some level of interest’ earlier in the offseason. A lot of time has passed since then and perhaps taking a prospect in the NFL Draft could change things, but that’s at least something to monitor.
