3 reasons Nick Foles will win the Bears starting job

Simply put, Foles is just better than Trubisky

The Bears organization may never admit it, but they messed up when they traded up all the way to No. 2 overall to snag Trubisky in the 2017 NFL Draft. They missed on both Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes, two of the best young quarterbacks in football right now.

Foles isn’t flashy and he won’t wow you with some of the plays he makes, but he’s consistent and you know what you’re going to get out of him every game. Trubisky, on the other hand, is a wildcard at the quarterback position, which is never a good thing for a so-called franchise quarterback.

Foles is a proven leader and someone who has a history of winning in this league. The respect he’ll demand once he steps in that locker room alone may earn him the starting job over Trubisky.

The Bears will continue to tell their fans that this is an open competition, but they already made up their minds when they traded for Foles.
