2. There’s Support For Bringing Matthews Back

If there is one thing that the Packers would be getting with the addition of Clay Matthews, it would be excitement. Even the current players on the Packers’ roster would welcome Matthews back with open arms.

Aaron Rodgers, in particular, seemed to love the idea of Matthews coming back to the green and gold. He liked a tweet earlier this offseason about Matthews potentially returning to the Packers.

Matthews still knows quite a few players on the Packers. He is a player that will be remembered for quite some time for his feats with Green Bay. Returning to finish his career where it started would make a lot of sense.
