The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in the middle of a massive offseason. Tom Brady was their primary target entering NFL free agency and it appears that they will end up signing him. That gives them hope of contending for a Super Bowl in 2020 if they can put a good team around the “GOAT.”
Offensively, the Buccaneers are off to a good start with wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. They also have a talented tight end in O.J. Howard who could take a big leap forward with Brady under center.
Now, there are questions arising about the running back situation. Tampa Bay needs to upgrade at running back and there is a guy who would make perfect sense. That player would be Los Angeles Rams’ star running back Todd Gurley, who has been rumored to be on the trade block this offseason.
If the Rams are actually open to trading Gurley, the Buccaneers should do everything in their power to acquire him. Let’s take a look at three reasons why Gurley to Tampa Bay makes perfect sense.
