With the signing of Tom Brady, the Buccaneers are going to be a much more dangerous and consistent offense. Brady is a big upgrade from Jameis Winston, but he will need a lethal running game. Gurley can provide that for the Buccaneers.
Even with an inconsistent role, Gurley carried the football 223 times for 857 yards and 12 touchdowns. He is still capable of producing at a very high level.
Opposing defenses would have to pick their poison between Brady and Gurley. That is a recipe for major success for the Buccaneers. Acquiring Gurley won’t be cheap, but they should do whatever they can to make it happen.
