A Potential Defensive Steal

Outside of Byron Jones, which is a big loss, the Cowboys were otherwise big winners in free agency. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix was one of the best free-agent signings in the league for both parties.

Clinton-Dix has quietly been an extremely productive safety with 16 interceptions over his seven-year career. He has bounced around a bit, but Clinton-Dix finds a perfect match in Dallas.

The Cowboys have needed a great and proven safety for a while now. Their defense was very good in 2019 with the exception of safety and that often was their downfall. Dallas has now found a star player for a big position of need and Clinton-Dix has found a good location to grow his skills and name.
