Denver Broncos
In order to take another step forward offensively, the Denver Broncos are going to need more playmaking talent. They already have Courtland Sutton and Noah Fant setting the tone but could use more speed. That makes an option like Henry Ruggs quite intriguing.
The current projections for where Ruggs might be selected in the 2020 NFL Draft remain inconsistent. Some experts seem to believe he could be off the board as early as No. 11 when the New York Jets are on the clock. Regardless, picks 11 through 13 could end up all being receivers with Ruggs included.
If the Broncos want to go big and add Ruggs, trading up for him may be required since they hold the No. 15 pick. Of course, there is a chance he will be available at Denver’s original spot. However, they may need to trade up to ensure they can be in position to select him.
The back end of the top 10 will likely feature plenty of offensive tackle selections. The Broncos should look to target getting a deal done with a team in that range. Perhaps trading between picks No. 8 through 10 would be enough to get in front of teams likely seeing a receiver.
