A Potential Risk
It’s far from a guarantee that Antonio Brown would be able to step into the Seattle Seahawks and stay out of the headlines. His last stop with the New England Patriots started out well but ended after just one performance after a new scandal had surfaced.
While he was arguably the best receiver in the NFL of the last decade, he was also the most polarizing. He has forced his way out of more teams in his career than the number of games he’s played in since the start of the 2019 season.
The worst case scenario for any team associated with the idea of signing Brown is that he brings a lot of distraction and disrupts the locker room, but never actually stays on the roster long enough to contribute. The Seahawks would need to be willing to shoulder that risk.
