D’Andre Swift Will Quickly Take Over As The Starter

There is absolutely zero doubt that D’Andre Swift was drafted to become the starter. Kerryon Johnson is a good running back, but he does not possess even close to the star potential that Swift brings to the field. Detroit got a major steal with this pickup.

Matthew Stafford has been the franchise quarterback for the Lions for years, but has needed help for the majority of his time in Detroit. The Lions have had some good running backs, but no one that could be utilized as a superstar.

Swift will show the talent and potential that intrigued the Lions so much right off the bat. He will quickly take over as the starter and will not look back. Detroit has their new long-term running back on the roster in Swift.
