3 wide receivers the Redskins could target in the third round

Chase Claypool, Redskins, NFL Draft

Finally, there is one option that should intrigue Washington the most with this selection. Chase Claypool has been a bit of a sleeper at wide receiver throughout the pre-draft process, but he has a huge body and the potential to be something special at the next level.

Claypool stands in at 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds and put up a big season for Notre Dame in 2019. He caught 66 passes for 1,037 yards and 13 touchdowns.

While there are some questions about Claypool’s speed and ability to create separation, the Redskins could do a lot worse at No. 66 than him. Claypool would give Haskins another big target to throw to and his size would come in handy in the red zone. This could be a great fit for both sides.
