4 burning questions for the Broncos entering the NFL Draft

Will a CB be a priority?

Playing in the same division as the Kansas City Chiefs requires a strong set of corners to be able to keep up with such a prolific passing attack. The Broncos may need to use one of their early-round selections on a corner to be able to sufficiently bolster this position group.

The Broncos made some changes at the cornerback position earlier in the offseason. They acquired A.J. Bouye in a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars to kick things off. That resulted in Chris Harris testing the market in free agency where he ultimately signed with the Los Angeles Chargers.

While it may not be a transaction, the Broncos will have Bryce Callahan coming off a foot injury that kept him sidelined for the entirety of the 2019 season. Bringing another corner into the mix to maximize long-term potential and immediate depth would be an advantageous move.

It seems unlikely for the Broncos to use a first-round pick on a corner but they do have plenty of other options. As long as they come away with a player at this position that can make a positive impact at least in a rotational capacity, it would be a win.
