The Eagles’ Offensive Line is Concerning

The start of a new season usually does not come with the need for so much shuffling for a unit. That was not the case for the Eagles with their offensive line due to a variety of injuries.

The Eagles were without Lane Johnson after he became a late scratch due to an ankle injury. That proved to be quite problematic when considering Philadelphia has already lost Andre Dillard and Brandon Brooks for a while due to injuries.

Granted, the Washington Football Team has an impressive front-seven that can give any offensive line group some problems. However, allowing Carson Wentz to get sacked 8 times and 14 QB hits on top of plenty of situations where was pressured is simply unacceptable.

There will be no shortage of film for the Eagles to review on what not to do when it comes to protecting Wentz. With an upcoming matchup with the Rams, Philadelphia must have a quick turnaround in this area.
