Drew Lock Is Still Finding His Form

With Courtland Sutton, K.J. Hamler, and Noah Fant all sidelined, the Denver Broncos did not have an extensive level of passing catching talent left for Drew Lock to work with inside the offense.

Against the New England Patriots, Lock finished completing 10-of-24 (41.7%) passes for 189 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions. It was a truly underwhelming return to the lineup for the Broncos QB.

Going up against a tough Patriots defense with a short-handed unit on offense certainly made things more difficult for Lock. However, he’s got to handle tough opponents better for the Broncos to be able to take the next step as a team.

There is going to need to be much greater output from Lock in the Broncos’ next matchup if they hope to keep up with the elite attack of the Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
