The New Orleans Saints and Las Vegas Raiders faced off in Week 2 of the 2020 NFL season. The matchup ended up being the first-ever game at Allegiant Stadium — resulting in a 34-24 win for the Raiders.

It’s safe to say the Saints got off to a strong start in this outing — jumping out to a 10-0 lead entering the second period. The Raiders answered back, and in a major way, outscoring New Orleans by 17-7 margin in the second quarter to tie the score 17-17 at halftime.

It was the Raiders who managed to build off a productive opening half of production. Las Vegas held the Saints scoreless in the third quarter but put up a touchdowns of their own. New Orleans failed to mount a comeback in the fourth quarter and ultimately lost.

Now, the Raiders hold a 2-0 record entering a Week 3 matchup with the Patriots, who will be seeking to bounce-back from their 35-30 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football. Meanwhile, the Saints will take on a tough Packers team.
