2. Justin Jefferson Was Incredible

The Vikings faced a need to replace Stefon Diggs in the offseason after his final expression of dissatisfaction with the organization. Minnesota already appears to have the answer with Justin Jefferson.

The level of production Jefferson managed to achieve against an effective Titans defense was quite impressive. Kirk Cousins threw to the rookie a game-high nine times during this game and Jefferson hauled in seven catches, 175 yards, and one touchdown.

On the 71-yard catch that Jefferson recorded in this game, he managed to show off his dynamic long-term potential in the NFL. He not only ran a precise route downfield but used his great open-field playmaking skills to make a defensive back miss and fall into his teammate — resulting in a touchdown.

It’s going to be fascinating to see the levels Jefferson can reach when he reaches his prime. However, with the Vikings already off to an 0-3 start to the season — excellence will be needed from the LSU product sooner rather than later.
