The Los Angeles Rams and Washington Football Team faced off during Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season.

Early on, it appeared as though this game could have been surprisingly competitive. Washington ended up holding a 7-6 lead at the end of the first quarter. However, things quickly unravelled for them.

The Rams put together an impressive effort in the second period— outscoring Washington by a 14-3 margin. Overall, Los Angeles held a 20-10 lead through this point of the game.

Washington failed to put any points on the board in the second half and made it impossible to even start a comeback effort. Meanwhile, the Rams added another 10 points— resulting in a 30-10 win.

It’s been a rough start to the season for Washington as they not hold a 1-4 record ahead of their Week 6 matchup with the Giants. As for the Rams, they are in an opposite position. Los Angeles is now 4-1 with the 49ers next on their schedule.
