Khalil Mack

The Lions will have a much more high-powered offense in 2020 with Matthew Stafford back in the lineup. He has become one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the NFL and has some intriguing weapons to work with in Detroit’s offense.

It will be crucial for the Bears to be able to make Stafford uncomfortable in the pocket. If not, Chicago could be in for a long day because their offense is not going to be dynamic enough to keep pace with that type of an attack.

The best chance for the Bears’ defense to make a necessary impact in pass rush will be through Khalil Mack. With Akiem Hicks back in the lineup, teams will not be able to send nearly as much help to Mack, which is why his numbers were down last season.

If Mack is able to take advantage of having more help on the front-line, the Bears should be able to make things tough on the Lions’ offense. A superstar like Mack can be a game-wrecker when things are clicking. Will he make that type of impact in Week 1?
