3. Odell Beckham Jr.
It has been absolutely perplexing to see the inability of Baker Mayfield and Odell Beckham Jr. to establish a rhythm together. The struggles the duo experienced since teaming up were on full display in Week 1.
In Week 1, Beckham Jr. was targeted 10 times but managed to haul in only three of those passes. He ended his performance with just 22 receiving yards in what was one of the worst outings of his career.
The Browns seem to force-feed the ball to Beckham Jr. during games at times in situations with little outlook to result in a completion. Cleveland must figure out how to better position their star wideout for success in Week 2 against the Bengals.
If the Browns can’t get their quarterback and star receiver to experience success together, the best course of action may be to trade Beckham Jr. Starting a strong stretch of play would go a long way to dispel the need for that outcome to happen.
