4 perfect offensive targets for the Atlanta Falcons this offseason

Unfortunately, part of the roster changes in Atlanta will likely include the departure of starting tight end Austin Hooper. The Falcons could still try to re-sign him, but there are going to be a ton of teams lined up with interest in signing him. More than likely, the team will need to make a change at tight end.

One player that could be available on the trade market is Cleveland Browns’ tight end David Njoku. Standing in at 6-foot-4 and nearly 250 pounds, Njoku possesses impressive size and has the speed and athleticism to terrorize defense.

He struggled with injuries in 2019, but the potential is there. If the Falcons lose Hooper to free agency, pivoting and trying to make a trade for Njoku would make a lot of sense.
