Denver Could Still Be a Top 10 Defense

The Titans had the ability to be one of the better defenses in the league this year, but that was before the injury of Von Miller sent shock waves through Denver.

Losing a player of Von Miller’s stature is going to be a big loss to any team and an impossible hole to fill with just one player. The only way that Denver is able to make up the slack is by relying on a team-based approach.

The second year under Vic Fangio is expected to continue moving in the right direction and putting this team in a position to win. With solid players from top to bottom this is a unit that has the ability to put a bandage on Von Miller leaving.

One of the ways that they will have to replace Miller is by adding more complex defensive schemes that will confuse offenses. Fangio can prove that he is the right man for the job by creating a plan to stop the Titans. The Broncos can win this game if they are able to win the field position battle and stop Tennessee.
